Abstract

The objective of the study is to determine the importance of innovation from a business perspective, 2024. It was based on a qualitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive approach. 12 in-depth interviews were carried out (5 business owners and 7 with administrative positions) using a guide of 10 open questions, via online trial in 2024. The inclusion criteria were: experts and active in the various business areas, with strategic positions. and tactical, more voluntary participation. The categorizations that were taken into account in the instrument were: Importance and adoption of innovation; and customer experiences. The most relevant results indicate that innovation is essential in the sale of products, since it improves competitiveness, increases efficiency and enriches the customer experience. Furthermore, innovation allows companies to stay relevant in a dynamic and constantly changing market. The adoption of innovative technologies can transform product sales by offering more immersive and personalized experiences. There is a growing preference for e-commerce, the use of mobile devices for shopping, and a demand for personalized and convenient shopping experiences. It is concluded that factors such as economic conditions, organizational culture, access to advanced technologies and availability of talent can significantly influence a company's ability to innovate.
